Our Beliefs About Fitness are Simple


It has to be fun and it has to be effective. If it is not enjoyable it becomes difficult to commit week in and week out. If you truly love what you do, it is hard to miss a day or a class. You will achieve your goals and make positive lifestyle changes by creating consistency. You won’t consistently do something you do not enjoy. If you are not getting the results you want, you’re wasting your time and our time. The combination of calorie burning cardio and fat torching strength training provides faster results yielding weight loss, body fat reduction, and the growth of lean tissue. Training core stability will create balance, flexibility, and strength that every woman needs to help her function better in everyday life. It will also decrease lower back pain, reduce the risk of injury and improve their ability to perform during workouts.



Cardiovascular


Our first workout each week is focused on getting a good cardiovascular workout. We burn more calories and work up a great sweat during training. The cardio workout involves is fast paced and fun with an emphasis on specific body type exercises that will keep the heart rate elevated to burn extra calories. We combine calisthenics, aerobic activity, and HIIT (high intensity interval training) to keep it new and exciting.



Strength


By using weights on the second day of camp, we decrease the amount of reps you need to do and push the muscles harder. We target specific muscle groups and teach the mind to recognize specific body parts to train those specifically. Our focus is on developing body awareness and muscle recruitment to teach the body to work together and increase strength.



Core Strength


Improving your core strength is a fundamental technique that everyone should incorporate into their training program. Strengthening the core allows us to lift heavier weights with proper form or technique. By completing the exercises with proper form and technique we are able to do more reps and avoid injury. A stronger core also allows you to perform daily tasks such as carrying groceries, doing yard work, and walking the dog without nagging back pain caused from compromised core strength.
