I was born in Richland but grew up just outside of Portland, Oregon. After high school, I joined the Air Force and became a security forces law enforcement patrolman where I had been stationed at Lackland in Texas, Hanscom in Massachusetts, and McCord in Washington. Thanks to the military and my hard work, I have a Master’s Degree in Psychology and currently, work as a National Security Specialist for the Ultra-Sensitive Nuclear Measurements Program here at PNNL. I was blessed with a son earlier in life than planned and he is now an adult living successfully on his own. I am set to elope with the man of my dreams in January 2023 and am honored to have three bonus children.
I started my love for fitness in 2015 when I was reintroduced to my love of running. I completed my first of 4 half marathons in 2016 but stopped when I moved back to the Tri-Cities from Texas in 2018. Since then, I have been yo-yo dieting and trying to find a gym and fitness community that fit who I was and what my goals are… enter Sarah Howell and Wolfpack!
I started my 6 week challenge and boxing program at Wolfpack in August of 2022 and quickly realized I found my new fitness home. At the end, I was down 10.3 solid pounds, 6.7% body fat, and 5 points in visceral fat, while gaining 3.5 pounds in skeletal muscle mass.
To augment fitness on non-gym days I have got up to 2.75 miles running in 30 minutes, working towards that 30 min 5K.
I believe in giving back and supporting people when and where you can and what better way can I do this than by becoming a coach for Wolfpack. I am dedicated to giving every class and every individual 100% of my time, energy, and support, and will challenge you to match me.
